Short story

I've been working on a short story, actually a prequel to Legacy, and I find it's harder than writing a novel! I thought this would be a good way to offer something "free" on Amazon that might lead readers to my novel. A short story doesn't have room for the kind of build up found in a novel. It requires minimal characters, a quick intro of a situation, some sort of crisis and then resolution. It's a good exercise, but like any new workout, it's making my muscles hurt!
